In the production of chemical fiber materials, the MFE600-E Electromagnetic Flowmeter plays a crucial role in controlling the transportation of water and chemical liquids, as well as in wastewater discharge treatment. From raw material dissolution and polymerization reactions to wastewater treatment and reuse, the fluid in every segment of each pipeline directly affects the stability of production and product quality. Our electromagnetic flowmeters have been selected by a Shandong-based chemical fiber company and are extensively deployed throughout their factory's liquid pipeline network, due to non-clogging design, adaptability, high-precision measurement, and corrosion-resistant properties.

Below are several practical application examples of monitoring in different processes or pipeline sections:

On the RO-R chemical cleaning inlet and RO-R rinse outlet pipelines, the MFE600-E Electromagnetic Flowmeter is responsible for monitoring the flow of cleaning chemical inlet water and outlet water, respectively. At this stage, it is essential to control the concentration of acids and alkalis as well as the flow rate. The flowmeter's signal is linked with the PLC control system to achieve precise proportioning. During the rinsing phase, the cumulative flow monitored helps determine whether the membrane system has been thoroughly cleaned.

Flowmeter-3

In the MBR backwash water pipeline, the MFE600-E Electromagnetic Flowmeter monitors the instantaneous and cumulative flow of the backwash water from the membrane tank. This stage requires the flowmeter to have fast response and high stability, as the backwash cycle is short and the flow rate changes rapidly. During the selection, we assisted the customer in choosing a small-bore electromagnetic flowmeter with a measuring range of 0.5–15 m³/h and an accuracy of ±0.5%, ensuring controllability in this process and preventing waste.

Flowmeter-2

In the hydrolysis acidification inlet pipeline, the MFE600-E Electromagnetic Flowmeter monitors the flow of water entering the acidification reaction tank. It also works in coordination with pump speed and regulating valve opening to ensure balanced reaction load and stable retention time, thereby improving the efficiency of organic matter degradation. Since the fluid in this stage contains acids and alkalis, we assisted the customer in selecting a flowmeter with a PTFE liner and Hastelloy electrodes to achieve corrosion resistance.

The MFE600-E Electromagnetic Flowmeter integrates with the DCS via 4–20mA, RS485, HART, and PA communications, enabling remote data monitoring. With an operating temperature range of -20 to 150°C, it is suitable for various media such as acids, alkalis, wastewater, and clean water, meeting the demands for continuous and intelligent production in the industry.
